Yet another advantage of working from home is the ability to change your virtual background and play around with filters to have a cinematic B&W look, clear skin with no imperfections, party glasses, and many more effects.

This guide shows you how to add these to your video in SignalWire.

Setup
To enable the filters, download Snap Camera to your device by following these steps:

Click on snapcamera.snapchat.com/download/
This will bring you to the Snap Camera download page as shown below.

Once on the page, click on the Download button on the top right of your screen, also visible in the image above.

This will take you to the T&C section. Check the box of T&C and click on either ‘Download for Mac’ or ‘Download for PC’ depending on your device.

Once it is downloaded, follow the steps to install it on your device. After that, you can open Snap Camera which looks like the image below.

How to use it

Once installed, restart your browser.

After restarting, go to your SignalWire room and click on the triangle next to the Video icon, on the bottom of your screen.

You will now see an option to select Snap Camera. Click on that option to select it.

How to change filter

To change the filter/background, open Snap Camera that you had installed, and select the filter you want.

You will see that the same filter, the one you selected in Snap Camera, is now applied to your video on SignalWire as well.
