How to invite others to your room
To invite participants to your SignalWire Room, it is best to provide the following:
The URL or link to the room along with the guest PIN
A backup telephone number to the room in case the participant experiences computer issues
You may have been provided with a SignalWire domain and a room name and not know the full room URL. This information can be determined from within the room.
To invite participants, click on the Invite button in the upper left corner.
There will be 3 options available to invite participants: Invite by sharing a link, Invite by phone call, & Invite by SMS
Invite by sharing a link - The URL will for the room will be displayed, it is typically of the form https://abcd.sw.work/rooms/ {Your room name}. Click the Copy button to obtain and provided to participant.
Invite by phone call - Input the participant's phone number and then click the Send button. The participant will receive a phone call that will add them to the room.
Invite by SMS - Input the participant's phone number and then click the Send button. The participant will receive a text message that will invite them to the room.
The phone number to the room to be used as a backup is not easily discoverable from the SignalWire user interface. It is best to reach out to the Administrator to confirm what phone number should be used as there are a number of ways to set up SignalWire to support telephone networks. However, the telephone number can still be discovered when using the option to invite via an SMS.
Click Invite in the upper left of SignalWire Video Layout
Navigate to Invite by SMS & enter the moderator mobile number in e.164 format (e.g., +12125551212). Be sure to add the ( + ) sign.
If a text message is received to the moderator mobile number, note the number that the text was sent from and try to call that number while in the meeting from the browser
If the number called from has joined the conference as well, this confirms that the telephone number is the number for the meeting.
This meeting is being held on SignalWire Work. You can attend from any modern browser, such as Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge, with access to your computer microphone and camera.

Your guest PIN is {Your room guest PIN}
If for some reason, you'd prefer the phone, don't hesitate to dial in to: {Your phone number}
